Geezer Palooza Pictures

Many Raiders now living in other parts of Texas and throughout the country had made their plans and were excited about coming back to Houston for the 3rd annual Geezer-Fest (or GeezerPalooza as we like to call it). Originally scheduled for September 23rd, GP-III had to be rescheduled for a later date because of a nasty Hurricane named Rita. Fortunately the storm changed course and went in at the Texas/Louisiana border so Houston avoided major storm damage...but the damage to GP-III had already been done. Those that were in attendance had a good time, but those Raiders from out of town who couldn't reschedule were certainly missed. In any event, the pictures are available in the Photo Gallery for review. Everyone here at BeenTooDamnLong.com is looking forward to GP-IV and wishing for NO disruptions to the schedule in '06.

What started as an email sent to 30 people, turned into a great time for over 350 people; Alumni from 1975 - 1989 were present. The only words to describe what happened for the next 6-7 hours were repeated for weeks by those in attendance: "What a hoot!", "I've never been to a reunion before but I'll definitely be at the next Geezer Palooza", and "It's Been Too Damn Long".
