The Gathering
September 27, 2003 – Mike's Ultimate Sports Bar
After two months of very little planning, the "Palooza" began. Entertainment for the evening was provided by class of 1977 alumni - the first band "Northbrook" with David Legate, Mark Bradford, Randy Hines, and Wayne Daniels and then "Claude Zit" with Chuck Crow, David Lasater, Bill Bradley, and Kenny Braun.
What started as an email sent to 30 people, turned into a great time for over 350 people; Alumni from 1975 - 1989 were present. The only words to describe what happened for the next 6-7 hours were repeated for weeks by those in attendance: "What a hoot!", "I've never been to a reunion before but I'll definitely be at the next Geezer Palooza", and "It's Been Too Damn Long".
The Gatherings have been dubbed "Geezer Palooza" as a pun on the La Palooza concerts of the 80's. Hence, "A bunch of Geezer's having a good time".
  
Geezer Palooza II - September 25th 2004
Geezer Palooza II was another smashing success. The party was held at Forget About It Too with over 500+ Raiders present. Alumni from 1975 - 1998 were represented.
The bands Midlife Crisis ('77 grads D.Legate, W.Daniels, R.Hines, M.Bradford) and Claude Zit ('77 grads C.Crow, B.Bradley, D.Lasater, K.Bruan) provided great entertainment all night long.
('77) C.Moore made a surprise appearance and it was the 1976 talent show all over again (without the motorcycle).
